Born in 1974 in Bihar, India. Mishra completed his BFA in Painting from JMI in 2000 and pursued MFA in Graphic Arts from MSU Baroda in 2002. He was awarded the C R Dass gold medal during his Post Graduation in 2002 and recipient of 46th National Akademi Award for print by Lalit Kala Akademi 2004. Since 2002, he has been practicing painting and printmaking and exhibiting nationally and internationally in countries like France, Switzerland, London and America. He has participated in important exhibitions like the 2017 Ecological Project Exhibition SARA Foundation, Bangalore, “Creating Impression” Visual Art Gallery, “VADFEST 2015”, Chalo India, Art Basel Centre Switzerland, 2005 solo show of print “Introspection” with Krishna Art Gallery, 2009 VII Biennale International ‘de la gravure’ France, 2008 “The Way We Are” Viart Gallery, Walk the line” Awanthaya gallery, Switzerland, Innuendo Triveni Gallery New Delhi,2006 “Infinit-us”, Planet Art Gallery, 2005 “Eternal recurrence” : Return, an exhibition of contemporary art New Delhi. His works are in many collections in India and abroad. He lives and works in New Delhi, India.
