Born in 1957, Dsouza received a master’s in Printmaking from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Vadodara in 1983. The following year he set up the print studio for Kanoria Centre for Arts, Ahmedabad. He was the Commissioner of the 4th Bharat Bhavan International Biennial of Prints Bhopal in 1997. An exhibition titled “Printmaking as We Know it Today” took place at Lemongrass hopper in 2007, where he introduced the medium of print the city of Ahmedabad. He has conducted several workshops across the country and has been a Visiting Fellow at the Department of Printmaking, Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan. He has also participated in numerous exhibitions. He has collaborated extensively with architects which has helped him take ‘art’ into public spaces in varied materials. He lives and works in Aldona and Ahmedabad, India.
