Born in 1960 at Gaya (Bihar, India), Guha finished his graduation and post-graduation from Kala bhavan, Santiniketan in 1982. He then pursued a fellowship by Charles Wallace India Trust Award, at Camber well College London in 1998 which was followed by a Fulbright Fellowship at Manhattan Graphic Center New York, 2003. He has held a solo exhibition at Art Consult Gallery Hauz Khas and Triveni Kala Sangam in New Delhi. He participated in shows like the Annual Exhibitions at Birla Academy Calcutta, Chitra Kala Parishad Bangalore, AIFCS New Delhi, Bharat Bhavan Bhopal in India and other notable shows abroad. He has also taken part in the 4th International Biennale Caixa-Ourense Spain, Bapha Varna 97, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Yugoslavia, Pusan city Korea, Kanagawa Japan, VII Biennale Internationale de la gravure d’lle-d-France, Sharjah UAE, Multiple encounter’s “1”&”2”, Exhibition of Prints at Chandigarh, Jaipur, Delhi and New York and the Indian Printmakers Guild held in Delhi, Calcutta and Bangalore. He was honored by The National Cultural scholarship, Junior and Senior Fellowship from The Government of India and has been felicitated with the National Academy Award from Lalit Kala Akademi and AIFACS Awards in Delhi. He has received the Bendre Hussain Award in Mumbai.
