M.F HUSAIN ART GALLERY, NEW DELHI
PRARAMBH
Group Show
Facilitated by
3th December - 8th December, 2015
The second edition of Prarambh officially marked its establishment as an annual event. Hosted at the MF Husain Art Gallery, the exhibition paid homage to the legendary artist during his birth centenary. This year, no specific theme was assigned, allowing student artists complete freedom of expression. However, “Diversity” naturally emerged as a central motif, with an impressive array of artworks spanning mediums, styles, and genres, from calligraphy to photography, watercolor to digital art, and wood to fiberglass. The event also featured seminars by eminent professionals, covering various topics related to art and the artist. Selected artworks were showcased exclusively at Gallery Artest, An Art Abode, from 12th to 20th December. Prarambh was curated to offer an enriching experience for both participants and visitors, with artworks carefully chosen to appeal to diverse sensibilities. The festival was designed as a welcoming introduction to the art world for young and first-time collectors, with accessible pricing for the artworks. Beyond the exhibition, Prarambh encouraged engagement and dialogue, inviting attendees to actively participate in the creative process. The festival was a celebration of artistic talent and diversity, serving as a platform for young voices to share their unique perspectives. It provided an inspiring and immersive experience for all, solidifying its place as a significant event in the cultural calendar.
