Nothing is permanent. The last few years of Covid once again reminded us of this eternal truth. We collectively experienced, grieved and survived a divisive moment in history. It challenged and re-defined our idea of “normal”. It brought forth the duality of our existence. We experienced the loss of our loved ones, the failures of the system, the loneliness and the despair. We also cherished our loving relationships, learnt about the spirit of humanity and discovered our inner strength to survive.

This exhibition was a collection of such experiences of the artists – some who lost it all, some who found it all and some who got inspired to change it all. These intensely personal experiences touched the core of their being, and perhaps, unlocked the truth from within. It is also to remind all of us that our lives are ephemeral, a mere blip, in the larger scheme of the universe.
